According to Sobczynscy i Partnerzy, “the private equity fund Tar Heel Capital, after fulfilling the conditions precedent, including obtaining the consent of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection for the concentration, finalized the acquisition of 64% of shares in the SmakMak Group companies, including SmakMak and Fresh Slaw Poland. The subject of the transaction was the purchase of a majority stake in SmakMak, an increase in the company’s share capital, the acquisition by this company of all shares in several other companies belonging to the Smakmak Group, acquisition of real estate, and shaping the new corporate governance of the group, including the rules of participation and involvement of founders and key managers.”
