Gessel has represented MS Galleon AG in proceedings before the President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection on granting consent to a concentration consisting in it taking over control over Rafako SA and its subsidiaries.
According to Gessel, “this is another project implemented by entities belonging to the group of Michal Solowow, which aims to reduce the level of exhaust fumes in the industry. Thus, it implements the assumptions of the European Green Deal, i.e. the strategy aimed at achieving climate neutrality by the Member States of the European Union by 2050.”
According to the firm, “Rafako S.A. has already completed the restructuring process, but in order to stay in the market, it has to enter new areas of energy and offer products and services that will be used on the market, therefore it is necessary to change the business model, and the provision of Rafako financing by Galleon will enable the strengthening of the energy transformation process in Poland.”
Gessel’s team included Partner Bernadeta Kasztelan-Swietlik, Managing Associate Karolina Krzal-Kwiatkowska, and Associate Karolina Olszewska.
